Spits houseboat, living where you want

Design objectives.

This design is a rebuild of the European inlandwaterways vessel "spits" (meaning pointed) as both the front and te back of the vessel are somewhat pointed.

I wanted to create nice large spaces for work, living and recreation.

Imagine a number of these wing house in a lake, Looking like sailboats, maybe some sailboats on the lake as well.

The finish of the wings should be like that of a chrome airplane wing, including the panels and the rivits.
In the sun the wings and windows will reflect the water and as a consequence of this merge with the water ánd sparkel with light.

The turntable on which the winghouse stands, basically will be a concrete tube, adding stairs will allow this area to be used as a cellar for general purposes.

From the above drawing you can see my standard way of detailing a design. From a pen and pencil design firstly I make a 2D drawing on te computer, which I then transfer into a 3D design and enhance with some environmental aspects.

Mostly I make some movies of the designs as it makes assesmnet of teh space smuch easire. As internetproviders still charge a lot for webspace and traffic, putting these movies on the net is not realistic.

It is obvious that my skill with 3D studio Max leaves something to be desired, but bear in mind I had to teach myself.
