Side-by-side Bicycle also called the sociable bicycle

This page is my inspiration page to make my own side by side.
The main desgin problem is the cranks.

Comparing the modern and old bicycles shows two major difference.
  • Old bicycle use the two frame and crancksystem, moderen sociable bicycle use a single frame.
  • The old bicycle have both riders steer, whereas the modern ones only have one rider steer?!

    The text's I read about these bicycles all say they were easy to ride. Look at the pictures and they seem to support this.
