Recumbent bicycles

The Dutch HPV site for starters, in Dutch but have a look around at some of the pictures particularly M5 lowracer.

IHPVA site, will give you some interesting links as well, site will have to be developed more.

Derk Thijs's wonderful rowing bike.
The best of both world rowing, great arm back and leg work-out, cycling, being in the open air. No risk of falling in wintery cold water.

Bram Moens the king of Dutch recumbent bicycling. Apart from a great mechanic he is a great cyclist also, holding several records.

Flevobike, once the great innovators seem to focus more and more on a single model, a shame such great engineers, pioneers of the fully enclosed modern velo-cars

Parapente

The airwave website.
The Willswings.
Dutch club-website
Bautek, the Zimmer brothers make as far as I am concerned the beste engineered gliders in the world. As you probably gathered I own one of their gliders the TWISTER
Randonaero, a good Dutch suppliers of stuff.
Dutch hangglider association website, nice site in Dutch ;-(

Icesailing

Going 120km/h plus; Anders Ansar has devoted his site to speedsailing. He offers information about his icewing. You can buy the design from him for a small amount in USD.

The skywings site offers this flying sail for snow and ice. It a further enhancement of the Jim Drake design (Yes the only inventor of windsurfing, this inspirational man has invented more than the Windsurfer which Hoyle Schweitzer claimed). Looks like good and soilid product with which you can have a lot of fun. I build a similar thing myself, is great fun.

Charles's brilliant Snowfer, which you can use on both snow and ice. It is basically a snowboard with two pairs of skates attched to the side. Judging by the photographs and the comments on this site it is capable of quite something.

 Hydrofoiling

microFoiler F3, fantastic model hydrofoil, based on the rave. One more toy I would dearly like to own.

David Keiper's (RIP, hope someone maintains his pages) DAK home page where he shows his famous Williwaw and her offspring. He also offers his book and video. Beautifully designed site.

Hydrofoil Moth, Fastacraft sells a carbon kit..

The International Hydrofoil Society. Its site-master Barney C. Black, has done a wonderfull job. Powered, human powered and sailing hydrofoils, information and links. Join them for only US$ 20,- per year!!!

The famous dr Sam Bradfield, designed this commercial sailing hydrofoil RAVE

Hobie adapted the Trifoiler concept Greg Ketterman and Russell Long, intended for speedsailing for fun sailing.

The hydrofoil water-ski "airchair" doesn't it seem fun. I would like to try it some time. By the way why not stand up and attach legs, even more gymnastic manoeuvres might be possible.

Trampofoil,WENT BANKRUPT!!! one of the strangest craft around. Imagine simply jumping up and down on a flexible submerged hydrofoil will not only keep you dry but will also propel you at considerable speed. This site is a must and I would very much like to try/own one of these trampofoils. The trampofoil can be bought at :

  • Trampofoil, working together with aquaskipper.
  • Aquaskipper, the heirs, of trampofoils.
  • Pumpabike, took advantage of the gap left by a bankrupt trampofoil.
  • Human powered hydrofils great website giving extra information.

     Miscellaenous

AF, Arnhemse Fijnhouthandel. This precious woods company is where I buy my veneers and woods. Their stock is large, the special veneer loft a "paradise"

Powerski, The toy for the third millenium. This is better than a jetski, it is surfing at its most powerfull. When are they available in europe!!!!
