| Is it possible to cycle sideways. Trying it sitting sideways on my own bike it seems possible. Seeing the you-tube pictures of the dual wheel steering side-ways bicycle it look very well possible. But when looking into the problem, I thought why not try design a principle where the riders can point in any direction relative to the direction of motion

| Also cycling backward, sideways, partly turne etc. This requires a central column that can rotate above the very low slung frame-tube. The drive is via a flexible drive cable, this allows pivoting the seat without problems with chains. The efficiency is of course low, but, this is only a fun bicycle, so ...

| This is a drawing of an late 1800's bicycle, although the original is quite crude, the large rear-wheel makes this to me, a beautiful bicycle.
| I tried to combine a short wheelbase, with a relaxing upright sitting position, an equal load for front and rearwheel combined with full rear and frontwheel suspension. The result is this nice bicycle.
| A frameless bicycle, wires make up all frame parts which are in tension, only the compression parts are still tube.
| A recumbent bicycle with a wood-spring rear frame.
| A "normal" bicycle with a wood-spring rear frame.
| The ultimate city bicycle, small manoeuvrable, fast and above all GOOD LOOKING. Looks like a BMX but is not.
| If you have to get on and of your bicycle a lot, this is the best. Low instep, suspension in the saddle. The airbrush work is reminiscent of the seventies, but you can make your own design.
| This is the traditional Dutch tranport bicycle, but than adapted for daily use. You can put quite a lot of groceries in the front basket. The modern equipment will make this an easy to pedal bicycle.
| Sorry I got carried away. This is a heavy duty tranport bicycle for inner cities?! Will probably steer very heavily, because of the two rea wheels
| The how low can you go bicycle adapted with an optimum aerofoil shaped cover. This recumbent bicycle should with a great cyclist, and fitted with first rate equipment be able to break the speed record??
| Ultra short wheelbase recumbent bicycle. The USW allows the user to cycle almost anywhere, it is fast yet extremely manoeuvrable.
| You, will probably already have seen this cycle in one of the recumbent bicycle webpages of this website. The radical lowrider allows high speeds with little effort.
| Beachcomber, beachcomber ..... time to remember ...
| When the city is very crowded why not use a unicycle, it is the summum in space saving while still being a cycle ;-)))) I have just learned to ride one and I can recommend it, it is difficult and a lot of fun to learn, buy one, I know where!
